New Delhi, April 13 (IANS) A pleasant morning greeted the capital Friday with the minimum temperature settling at 23.3 degrees Celsius, two degrees above average for this time of the year. The met department has forecast a squall and light rains.
A cloudy day with chances of rain lies ahead for Delhi, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
"The skies will remain partly cloudy with rain or thundershowers accompanied by a squall in some parts of the capital. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius," said the official.
While the minimum temperature Thursday was recorded at 19.6 degrees, one notch below average, the maximum settled at 35.5 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
