Berlin, Jan 24 (IANS) Twelve new cars ordered by police in a German city were burnt down by unidentified arsonists.
The arson attack took place Monday in the eastern city of Magdeburg, Xinhua reported.
The cars were parked in a depot of a car dealer and were to be handed over to the police Tuesday.
Authorities estimated the damage caused to be around 500,000 euros (around $652,000), a police spokesman said.
