No date on Formation of Thelangana, says Chidambaram

New Delhi.     Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Monday refused to give any timeline for formation of proposed Telangana. He assured that the date will be given only after looking  into all issues of concerns like the status of Hyderabad.

Replying to an impromptu debate in the Rajya Sabha on Telangana formation, he said that the government would take forward the decision of Congress party to form Telangana state and rejected the opposition's allegation that it was taken in a haste.

I can't give a date, he said.
