In Sharjah, A family of four were hospitalised with suspected pesticide poisoning on Monday afternoon — the same day an 11-year-old Iraqi girl who lived in the same building died of suspected poisoning.
The Emirati family, a man in his forties, a woman in her thirties and their son and daughter was rushed to the government-run Al Qasimi Hospital on Monday evening suffering from continuous vomiting and dizziness. They were transferred to the hospital’s emergency section.
Dr Saqr Al Mualla, deputy director at Al Qasimi Hospital, reported local media, that their condition is stable and will be under observation during the next 24 hours.
The condition of two members of the Iraqi family is remains critical, as symptoms reported on Friday.
The building’s watchman has been arrested and taken into custody.
