"Iron man" to take up Avengers 2 & Avengers 3

The Stark Enterprise mastermind and his alias Iron Man will indeed swoop in for The Avengers 2 and The Avengers 3. Marvel has announced that Robert Downey Jr. has officially signed to reprise his role in the next two installments of the franchise.

As a part of the two-film agreement, douchey yet adored Downey will star as the billionaire badboy in Marvel's The Avengers 2 and Marvel's The Avengers 3. Considering the fact that both Iron man 3 and Marvel's The Avengers have claimed spots on the list of five highest grossing films of all time, it's no shocker that Downey ended up being more than ready to suit back up as Iron Man for another two films.
