"I'm just enjoying being engaged. I do feel like there is a lot of time and nothing needs to be rushed," Chicago Sun-Times newspaper quoted her as saying.
Rumours were abuzz that the wedding will take place this summer, but no date has been confirmed yet, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"Being engaged is just absolutely amazing. You're in this romantic, breathless moment that I'm just trying to extend as long as possible," she said.
