New Delhi, June 8 (IANS) The capital woke up to a warm and sultry morning Friday with minimum temperature settling at 27 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season. The met office has forecast that the maximum temperature will shoot up to 41 degrees Celsius.
"The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain clear throughout the day," said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity was 58 percent.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature settled two notches below average at 38.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature recorded was 26.9 degrees Celsius, a notch below average.
