Amy's dad to share her handwritten notes with fans

London, June 18 (IANS) Mitch Winehouse will share his late daughter Amy Winehouse's handwritten notes with her fans by publishing them in his upcoming book.

Mitch will release "Amy, My Daughter" later this month, and he's including a number of personal letters that Amy sent to him while she was away from her native Britain, reports dailystar.co.uk.

Editors at the New York Post have given a glimpse of one message that Amy sent to her dad on Valentine's Day in 2003.

In the letter, she wrote: "Dear Daddy, I love you so much and can't wait to see you again in a few weeks. I'm working, and I haven't spent a penny. A few thousand dollars have gone, but no pennies as such. I'm joking."

The Grammy-winning star died in July 2011. She was 27.
