New Delhi, April 6 (IANS) The body of a young engineer, who was missing for three days, was found in Delhi Friday, police said adding that one of his friends and two accomplices are suspected to have killed him for a ransom of Rs.1 crore.
The three accused were arrested Thursday night, police said.
"Engineer Johny Gupta, around 24 years of age, residing at Paschim Vihar, was found murdered in Nangloi early Friday," said police.
Police said Gupta was kidnapped from the Keshavpuram Industrial Area Tuesday evening where he had gone to meet a friend.
Gupta's body was found after the accused were interrogated. It was wrapped in polythene and buried in Nangloi.
Investigations are on and police are waiting for the postmortem report to ascertain the exact cause of death.
