New Delhi, March 19 (IANS) It was a warm, sunny morning for the capital Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 19.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the average for the season. The met department forecast a warm and humid day ahead.
"The day is likely to be warm with clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperature will be around 37 and 19 degrees Celsius," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 70 percent.
The capital has been experiencing warm and sultry days. The maximum temperature recorded Sunday was 35.6 degrees Celsius, six notches above the average for the season.
