Mumbai, Jan 30 (IANS) LIC Housing Finance Ltd Monday reported 43 percent increase in net profit at Rs.305.69 crore for the quarter ended Dec 31 against Rs.213.5 crore during the like period of the previous financial year.
Total income stood at Rs.1,592.54 crore, up 17.58 percent, during the quarter under review compared to Rs.1,354.42 crore a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange, the shares of the company were 1.27 percent lower to trade at Rs.248.45.
